The Inspiration<\/h3>\n

\"MeI remember waking up that morning and getting ready for work. As I was getting ready I noticed I was still having the mild contractions that had started the night before. At first I thought nothing of it and then a little angel whispered in my ear \u201cyou better stay home today\u201d. It\u2019s a good thing I did because little did I know I was in labor. I went to the hospital around one o\u2019clock and was sent home because the nurses said I hadn\u2019t dilated. Of course at this point I was extremely frustrated wondering if I would have to go through an entire weekend feeling like this. I went home to try and rest but as you probably already know rest was nowhere in sight! I attempted to lay down for about an hour. As soon as I got up an hour later the contractions hit like a sledgehammer. It was like no pain I\u2019ve ever experienced. My daughter was born that night at 11:31pm April 05, 2012. She took my breath away!<\/p>\n

Our Birth<\/h3>\n

Four months later while out shopping with my mom and daughter a stranger walked by and couldn\u2019t help but admire how cute she was. The first thing the person did was reach for my daughter\u2019s hand not knowing that she was at the stage where she was putting any and everything in her mouth. I cringed, knowing I didn\u2019t have anything to clean her hands with. I reached for my antibacterial gel and realized I didn\u2019t want that on her hands either. As soon as I got home I started to Google looking for some way to cleanse my baby\u2019s hands that was safe, non-toxic and and most importantly edible. It didn\u2019t take me long to realize there was nothing out there. I wanted products that were as healthy as the food we were eating, literally. That was the day Greenplicity was born!<\/p>\n
